The Lower Sacramento River has been very consistent for the past few weeks. BIG hatches of PMDs and Summer Caddis have had fish chowing with reckless abandon during certain windows throughout the day. Also, the last hour of light has been giving up some really good dry fly fishing. When the Caddis start to pop during that last hour of light, it's like somebody flipped a switch and it seems almost every fish in the river is poking it's nose through the surface grabbing Caddis. There have been a lot of hot fish hooked in the past week. Get up here while the gettin' is good.
