Alaska Wrap – 2017

Alaska Wrap – 2017

Erika and I just got back from our annual hosted trip to Alaska. A giant THANK YOU to those who traveled and fished with us the past couple of weeks. We had an incredibly good time with each and every one of you. I say it all the time but I am very lucky to have such a great group of clients. Some of my best clients have become some of our best friends over the years. I look forward to many more years of hosted fly fishing travel with you all. We had excellent conditions during most of our trip this year. A few days of rain but not enough to dirty the water until the last two days. The smaller coastal streams were stacked with Silvers and everyone had at least one day out there that was epic. It’s tough to beat casting at fresh Coho in tidewater.. we got to spend a lot of time doing just that. The Canyon floats were loaded with trout and dollies eating behind spawning Sockeye and the Lower Kenai gave us some opportunities at very heavy trout. I will let the photos tell the rest of the story.

We have already reserved our lodging and guides again for our trip next year. There are already quite a few inquiries so get in touch soon if you have any interest or questions on next years trip.
