Lower Sacramento River Fishing Report
Well, it might sound like a broken record but the Lower Sac remains lights out good. There haven’t been many lulls in the fishing at all here as of late. I had the chance to guide a fella who grew fishing the river with his grandfather and father. He had some really neat stories of the “good ol’ days”. He’s pushing 70 years old now and has hundreds of days floating and fishing the Lower Sac. Today was the “most productive” day he had ever had out here.. PMDs are still the main attraction. There are more and more Caddis starting to come off and that will only continue with warmer days in the forecast. Don’t forget that summertime is a good time to get the dry fly rod out here.
I still have June 1st and 2nd open as of now. Jump on it if ya want to get in on some very above average trout fishing.
