It’s time to go back to work. The Lower Sac has been fishing very well. I was out the day after getting home and it felt like she hadn’t skipped a beat at all. Caddis seemed to be the main bug for us but they weren’t shy to eat mayflies and stoneflies either. We are getting into a great time of the year to be on the Sac. Salmon are starting to show up in good numbers already as far up as Anderson. It won’t be long now until they’re cutting redds and kickin’ eggs down to the trout.

Congratualations on your engagement. Please pass my congrats along to Erica as well. An engagemnet and a mutant Rainbow? Vacations don’t get any better than that.

Nice catch, and the fish wasn’t to bad either. Seriously congratulations, Susi and I wish both of you the best of luck and eternal happiness. That is one heck of a rainbow, how long was he, how much did he weigh, and don’t tell me you caught him on a size #22 caddis! On a bad note, Susi has to have a hip replacement done and she’s having it the first week in September. We’re concerned she won’t be healed enough by our October fishing trip date. Is it possible to switch to early or mid November and still keep the same fishing arrangements? Sorry for any inconvenience.
